PBL: Our Unique Method

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a student-centered pedagogy where students learn about a subject through the experience of solving an open-ended problem found in given scenarios. The PBL process does not focus on problem solving with a defined solution, but allows for the development of other desirable skills and attributes, such as knowledge acquisition, enhanced group collaboration and communication.

Futurum Academy is committed to training students to become independent thinkers, lifelong learners, and global leaders.

Futurum Academy has self-developed STEAM curriculum, based on the Spiral Curriculum concept attributed to notable American education psychologist Jerome S. Bruner.

Specialised courses are planned depending on the students’ age and psychological characteristics, with key concepts repeated throughout the curriculum with deeper layers of complexity and application.

This is suitable for long-term learning for children aged 4 to 18 years old.
